Accreditation

How to Claim Credit

Click the "Claim Credit" button in the online platform and log in using your email and password that you created during registration, then follow the steps below:  

  1. Complete evaluations for the sessions you attended during the live broadcast.
  2. Complete the Conference General Survey to unlock your certificate.  
  3. Download/Print your certificate of credit. If you require multiple certificates, repeat step 3. Keep your certificate of credit for your records. You will not receive a certificate by mail. 

Note: The deadline to claim credits for the live broadcast is 60 days after the date you attended.

Intended Learners

This activity is intended for psychiatrists, primary care physicians, psychologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, psychiatric nurses, and other healthcare professionals who seek to improve the care of patients with mental health disorders.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Use evidence-based approaches for the diagnosis and ongoing assessment of mental illness to optimize patient outcomes
  • Evaluate current data on traditional and emerging psychopharmacologic approaches to the management of mental illness
  • Integrate psychopharmacology with psychotherapy to maximize personalized treatment regimens for patients with mental illness

Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs. This internet live activity is designated for a maximum of 11.5 CE credits.


Social Work (ASWB ACE)

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, HMP Education is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. HMP Education maintains responsibility for this internet live course. Social Workers completing this course receive 11.5 general continuing education credits. 

Marriage and Family Therapy

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, HMP Education is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The APA pre-approves New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Rhode Island, South Dakota and Washington D.C., for Marriage and Family Therapy credit. Pharmacy

This internet live knowledge-based activity (Universal Activity Number: JA0006201-0000-24-038-L01-P) has been approved for 11.5 contact hours (1.15 CEUs).  

Note: The certificate is not the official record of your participation in the activity. The official record of credit will be the information in the CPE Monitor system. Following ACPE Policy, credit must be transmitted to NABP through CPE Monitor within 60 days from the date you complete this CPE activity.  

 

Requirements for Credit

To be eligible for documentation of credit for each session attended, learners must participate in the activity and complete the session(s) and overall conference evaluations, and post-test(s), if applicable. Participants who complete the evaluation online within 30 days of the conference will receive documentation of credit. Your certificate may not load if you are accessing it from a smartphone, or settings of your browser do not allow for a new tab/window to open.  

Once a certificate has been claimed, physicians and pharmacists may elect for credits to be submitted on their behalf to their boards via additional fields that will appear within the Claim Certificate page. Credits must be submitted through this process to be reported to the American Board of Surgery and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.
